Giorgio Zaccarian from Italy sat down with us to share his experience while taking his Global MBA, specialising in management consulting, online with London School of Business & Finance.

My name is Giorgio Zaccarian. I am Italian. I lived in Finland for five years during my studies, and then I moved to Germany.

I completed the Global MBA in Management Consulting, specifically Cross-Cultural Management. I thought of studying online because this is geographically independent. It gave me freedom in terms of scheduling and self-organisation.

I enjoy business management, I enjoy managing services, managing teams. These studies were quite in line with my work experience. I matched the topics with my passion. The platform gave me means to network and to interface with others. The tutors were always available.

You have to organise it very well. I work during the day so, especially when the assignment deadline was approaching, the only times I had available were evenings and during weekend. You have to exploit your free time.

I studied pretty much at home. I had one place where I always studied, a desk. During the weekend when I had longer hours available, I could concentrate on much more complex topics. So, maybe during the week, I was doing easier things.

I strongly believe we should be eager to learn new things every moment, it’s never enough. It keeps you young, in a way. It keeps me young, definitely. I think it’s something that gives huge value to everyone.
