The broad subject area of this undergraduate degree programme covers a number of subfields of the social sciences.

This online degree programme will develop a broader understanding of society, ethics, politics, and policy-making, grappling with the complex theories which underpin these different elements. You will explore these aspects, learning to evaluate a range of different concepts using up-to-date methods. Graduates will be equipped with the analytical skills sought by employers across a range of industries internationally.

Entry Requirements

This course has standard entry requirements. To be eligible for this course through the standard entry requirements you must have either:

  • Two subjects at GCE A level or equivalent, plus passes at grade C or above in three subjects at GCSE level or equivalent; or
  • Completed a recognised Access Programme or equivalent
  • For students whose prior learning was not taught in English, IELTS 6.0 or equivalent is required
