Syed Asad from Dubai sat down with us to share his experience while taking his Global MBA, specialising in financial management, online with London School of Business & Finance.
My name is Syed Asad, I come from Dubai, and I studied the MBA (Financial Management).
Previously, I studied ACCA with London School of Business & Finance, so I already knew the overall mechanism of online study - the lecture quality, the way they cover every area. The major reason that I selected an MBA with LSBF is because once you are ACCA-qualified you will get exemptions, which will certainly lower the overall period of time you need, and also cost - the most important thing.
In my previous studies, if we’re talking about the ACCA, there was not much research. When it comes to the MBA, the first thing that was different for me was the research. You have to do extensive research to prepare your projects and research thesis.
Online, nowadays, is really a great option. You can study for any degree, from any university. For example, if you are somewhere in the Middle East or Asia, you can still study a British degree. That is the major benefit of online study.
With online study you can carry on your career, you can give time to your family. Online study saves travelling time. You can schedule your study for the weekends. So, there are actually a lot of benefits to online studies.
